HD810 with live video problems with sound

Hi,
I just got a HD810 with the live video that is connected to a Direct TV reciever. After the HD810 runs for a couple days, the sound from the direct TV just becomes a steady high pitched sound.
Right now my playlist has live video for 720 seconds, then plays 30 second mpg video, then it goes back to live video in a loop. I also have a ticker running, but it has done it with and without the ticker. If I unplug the HD810 and reconnect, it works fine all day. Its usually like this when I come in the morning and turn the TV back on.

Anyone have an idea of what to do?
Thanks,

What firmware are you using? And, are you using svideo input or composite? Is the signal from the directv receiver always on, so there's always video and audio being fed into the video adapter?

When you turn off the TV at night, is the receiver turned off as well?

I haven't heard of this happening before. But, once I have more details, I can forward it to our developers to take a look at.

    Hi, Thanks for the reply.

I am connected with Svideo and red/white composite. The direct TV signal is always on. I have verision 3.1.73. I just got the unit about 2 weeks ago.

Ok, I sent you a link to firmware 3.1.83 to try.

    Firmware 3.1.83

If that fails, please download 3.2.53 from our support page.

    Hi,

I have tried both firmwares, and after about 24hrs the live video sound goes away. With the latest firmware it just cracks and pops in the speakers instead of having a constant high pitch sound.

Zone 1 playlist 0 has two items; Live Video and commercial.mpg.

I right clicked on live video and set Time on Screen to 720 and volume to 98.

It works for about 24 hours with the TV on or off, doesnt matter.

Please download the 3.2 firmware and test. We were unable to duplicate under 3.2, but I had another user report this issue under 3.1. I'm having him test with 3.2 as well.

    I am already running v3.2.53.

It only delayed the problem. It can go about 2 days before the sound cuts out on the live TV.

Please send me your address, at support@brightsign.biz, and I'll send a new module to test. We can't duplicate the problem internally.
