Hi guys, i've been searching the forums but cant find anything about a recommended video encoder software you guy use along with your brightsigns. I was wondering if anyone can advise me on one to use, something that is simple and easy. Thanks!

Since the brightsigns works with mpeg1 system streams, mpeg2, and h.264 transport streams, you should be able to use any program you want.  Our customers use a variety of programs from free encoders, inexpensive utilities to more professional applications.

Are you looking to convert from another video format?

"Easy to use" is pretty subjective.

Some programs I've heard mentioned include....

    Final Cut and Compressor

    Premier

    After Effects

    Elecard Conversion studio

    Procoder

    TMPGenc

I use iSkySoft's Video Convertor (available for both mac & PC).  It costs $31 and is worth every cent.  Use it to rip a DVD (or create your video using your software) then drag and drop into Video Convertor - set your settings and leave it alone. http://www.iskysoft.com/video-converter-mac.html
