BrightAuthor will not onfigure GPIO as input

I'm trying the beta BrightAuthor with interactivity.

When I try to add a GPIO input event I get an error "GPIO n is configured as an output" even though I have configured all the GPIO lines as inputs in Edit/Preferences.

I have tried saving the project, closing BrightAuthor, opening BrightAuthor and checking the the GPIO lines are set to inputs, still I get the error.

Using 1920x1080x60p and HD810.

Wait a second, the BrightAuthor requirements lists all models apart from the HD810, is this some cruel trick on the part of Roku to make my life miserable? Will support for the 810 be added?

The 810 should work like any of the others. Can you try creating a new project.

Also, under file, sign properties, is that where you  are changing the settings? Those settings apply to the project you are working on. If you go to edit preferences, those don't change your curren settings, just the settings for any new projects you create.

    Thanks Lyndon.

Yes it does work with the 810 I guess it just got left off the list.

O.K. I understand about the differences between preferences and properties now, thank you.

When I made the first project I changed the preferences only and it did not work and I thought maybe something to do with 810 since it is not included in the list then when I made the 2nd project (for a 1010) the GPIO properties were changed because the preferences were changed in the first project.
