H.264 video time cropping

I have a problem with H.264 video playback. When videos are set in a simple auto-start, auto-play sequence, the first second and the last 1 or 2 seconds of each video is cut off. I am currently having to create each file with a black or white leader at the front and end of each video so that the entire presentation is shown. Is there any way to fix this? Specs: HD1010 & HD210, 1080p H.264 video transcoded as .TS transport stream. Latest firmware. File sizes are 7 to 15MB each.

  What firmware are you usig? Please try the latets 3.2 and report if you're still seeing the issue. That shouln't be happening.

  I'm using the latest firmware, 3.2.6 on both the HD210 and HD1010.
  
  I have created a test video you can try out. It is a 30-second countdown clock with rolling time. It should loop to start at 30 seconds, and end at 0 seconds.
  
  As a reference, I have also posted the source Quicktime file.
  
  It seems that this video really screws up the HD1010, to the point of re-playing seconds 2-4 over and over again, and then proceeding to the 5 second mark, resetting, looping and then going to the 20 second mark (countdown time 10.0) and then looping all over again It seems to be random all over the place!
  
  I am creating the transport stream in VLC from the Quicktime file. No transcoding of the video is going on.

  Ok, maybe the vlc conversion is problematic. My media player gave me error messages in windows 7 when I tried to play your .ts file.
  
  
  
  Try tsmuxer to do your change from mov to ts. It's free and works on the mac and pc, and while it seems more sensitive, I get better quality from it.

  I see that all the other .TS files I have created haven't been playable inside of VLC afterwards. I chalked that up to a lack of a suitable codec. I will try TSMUXER and report back.
  
  The video you sent me starts playing at the 0 second mark (30 seconds on the clock), but if you loop it you will see that even that video stops with about 2.5 seconds to go most of the time. The odd time it will continue right to the end.
  
  Update: TSMUXER solved the 2.5 second clipping at the end of all the videos, except for whichever one is first on the play list. That video still ends with 2.5 seconds left in the file.
