Couple of questions

Hi, Newbie here, I am rolling out about 20 HD210's for a client. Just a couple of questions 1) Which file extension do movies need to be for them to play? 2) With regards to changing the font, I have selected a font yet it still shows the "System" font when I do an RSS feed. Does the unit support only certain types of fonts? Thanks

This document covers video in great detail:

    1. Extensions - .mpg and .vob, and .ts

    2. It should work fine with truetype or open type fonts. Where did you set the font, under edit preferences, or under zone preferenes for the rss zone in the project you were working on? If you make a change under edit preferences, it only applies to newly created project. It's a global setting. It won't change the project you're working on currently.

    Thanks Lyndon thats great.

Out of interest the documentation mentions .MOV files, is this not supported yet?

    Correct.

    Not, yet.

You can use a utlity like tsmuxer to change your mov to a transport stream, and if it's encoded with h.264, then it should playback fine.

Thanks for that, we can encode in .mpg no trouble.

Is a firmware revision in the future going to resolve this?

MOV support is planned, as well as firmware updates to improve h.264 playback.
