BS Playback of ripped DVD assets

Hi, can one playback on the BS player"ripped" assets from SD DVD - both PAL and NTSC. I don't yet have the specific specs on the assets as I don't have the DVD's yet, but it's a good bet they will be MPEG2 video and either AIFF or ac3 audio. I assume the audio would have to be multiplexed with the video for the BS player? Or can they be left as separate assets? Basically, I have to avoid re-encoding (thereby degrading) the video. We are considering either the BS110 or 210.

the mpeg2 vob files on the dvd will play as is. If you have separate audio then those will have to be muxed with the video files. There should be no need to re-encode.

The brightsign won't decode the ac3 or aiff, so if you want the audio to playback over hdmi, witthout using a decoder, or over analog, the audio will have to be changed to mpeg audio.

OK sounds good. I''ve produced mpeg transport streams for the HD210 before and I know how to mux the mpeg2 with mp2 audio so this should be easy enough. Would I be able to upload to my web site a muxed sample for you to test on the 110 or 210.
