HD210 Lost Audio

I enabled Simple Networking today for my HD210. Process worked fine first time except there is now no audio from the video in the presentation. The presentation loaded via simple networking is the exact same one that ran fine (good audio) when SD card was programmed directly via Local Storage option. Upload to webserver was done using binary transfer. I'm using BrightAuthor 2.0. Peter Cassidy

    That's an odd result. If you go back to playing the non networked script, does the audio return? I've never heard of something like this happening.

    Was the audio going out over analog?

    Lyndon -- Audio returned, but the sequence of events is strange. After I reported the problem, I left the unit running overnight. About 8 am I checked and no audio with the video. I changed the SD card to the one with the same presentation that was previously working ( I have 2 SD cards) and audio was fine. Changed back to the other SD card and no audio. Left this SD card in the HD210. About an hour later, audio started playing with the video and has been fine since.

    I had a similar case of lost audion last week on this unit while I was doing the initial setup. Audio returned after I rebuilt the presentation in BA, but I'm begining to think that was just a coincidence.

    Is it possible that I have a defective HD210 with an intermittent condition that disables audio?

    Something else that might be related is the screen On/Off control problem. Initially at the scheduled off time, the presentation stopped and was replaced with a white screen. The next morning, with power on the screen was black as expected. It all come to life on schedule. I have not ben able to monitor how well this operation is working since. Over the next few days I'll make a point to be onsite duting scheduled on and off times to verify operation.

    Another data point -- Playing with programming the HD210, I lost audio again today. Reprogramming cards and cycling the power on the HD210 had no effect. However, cycling power on the Sony Bravia brought sound back.
