Connection problem between HD110 and projector

A HD110 player with a MPEG-2 video is installed in a museum and connected to a Panasonic PT-AX100E projector. Sometimes they have to restart both a few times or disconnect and reconnect the HDMI cable before they recognize eachother. This is a pain because they have to climb up a ladder to get to the machines. I also have a similar problem at my office when connecting a HD210 to a Hantarex display. The video always starts but without audio. If I reconnect the HDMI I get audio or if I change the input source on the display and then switch back to the connected source I get audio. I'd appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks

I have the same Problem using a HD410.

The Picture shows up (108050p) but no audio. If i change the input and then back to HDMI it works.
It is working as well if i unplug and replug the HDMI Connector.

I tested 2 different Displays NEC P401 and Hyundai W243D. Same problem. I also tested with the attract.mpg Video

The analog Audio output is working all the time. Unfortunately i can´t use this workaround.
I am using Firmware 3.2.67 official release

    is there any solution?

    Tombo,

What firmware is on the unit, and are you playing with a playlist, or just a video on a flash card? If you are using a playlist, what resolution are you setting the brightsign to?

If you aren't using a playlist, it's possible the brightsign is settling on a resolution the projector doesn't like. So, setting the unit to a fixed resolution might solve the problem. It could also be an issue with the hdmi cable, so I'd try a different one, as short as possible.

I've just updated the firmware to 3.2.67 on the HD210 and have the video on the card without a playlist connected to a Hantarex
monitor with a 1.5 meter HDMI. The video starts but no audio. Reconnecting the HDMI cable during playback or resetting the input source on the monitor activates the audio.

daniel_f says updating the firmware to 3.2.78_beta solved this problem for him. Where is this beta update, I can't find it.

    Hi Tombo,

when using BA 2.0.0.24 in the TAB Publish, Local Storage, there is a Menu:

    Firmware:
    o Production release: V3.267
    o Beta Release: V3.2.78
    o select specific file

by checking beta release and then publish - the FW will be downloaded and be saved to your selected destination.

    Hi daniel_f

The beta release did the trick. It's working now.

    Thanks!
