IR Remote Control of HD410 and HD1010

I note from the GPIO spec that you can construct an IR receiver using a Vishay TSOP39338 IR Receiver to use on this port. Could you please advise how I can determine the IR commands from my Remote control to trigger events in the players. Also, what remote control handsets are suitable for use with these players? Did I see that they had to be NEC compatible? Many thanks

    Currently, the only way you can do IR input is with a USB enabled brightsign and a iguanaworks USB IR transceiver. There's no firmware support for a hardware IR input device.

    So this means you cannot control a Compact 410 by IR using the BB200 Button Board?

    The only IR support you can do currently is with the USB IR transceiver. So, only the HD810 and HD1010. You cannot use that board.
