simple vidéo file

Anyone can help me to create a program that star a simple vidéo when one button is press 1 I don't need any home page : no image on the screen, just start a video when button is press (IR button). But vidéo must run again if people are still present. Sorry for my bad english, France here

    when you say IR, you mean the remote control?

    No, sorry, I say infra-red detector:

    When people come in the vidéo room, detector see them and start the vidéo, and the vidéoprojector too

    When finished, the film must restart immediatly if there is people in the room, or must stop (and the VPH too) if there is nobody.

    A motion detector is seen as a button press by the brightsign. Most motion detectors would be plugged into the gpio port.

    So, when motion triggers the video, you want it to play, and keep playing as long as there are people in the room. If there are people present in the room, does the motion detector simply trigger again, or does it stay open/closed until no one is present?

    I just want that the movie play until no one is present and restart if new people come in.

    Also i want that our brighsign 410 control the vidéoprojector , power on and off, as the movie start or stop (with RS232)

    This can all be done, including the control. What I was asking is how your motion sensor reacts to people being present. is the switch kept open, does it open and close? or, have you not decided on a motion sensor yet.

    But, this can be done easily with brightauthor.

    My motion sensor stay on (closed) during a predifine time ( 5 mn, 12 mn,....). At the end of this time it turn off and turn on il there are people in the room.

    Note that I have not yet choice the motion sensor (On celling 360°. Do you have a model to advise ? )

    Also I have not find the RS232 cable to connect the vidéoprojector to the Brightsign 410. Connector on the VPH is a mini-din 3 pin

    Sorry to insist, but I still have a problem.

    We bought a motion sensor i try the installation.

    Movie start when motion sensor detect people around but when movie is finished it don't restart when people are still here because the motion sensor's contact stay on

    We need a programm that start the projector and the movie when poeple come in, retart the movie if there is still poeple in the room, and stop the movie and the projector when poeple come out.

    Sorry to insist,but it does'nt work fine

    Motion sensor triggers the vidéo, when people come in the room.

    But motion sensor stay close when there is still poeple in the room at the end of the movie. So the movie can't restart and it's not fine, because I want the movie restart if poeple are in the room
    (ex : people who came in the room as the movie has began and who have not seen the entire movie).

    Any help ?
