RSS feed not updating

I have a rss feed setup and it seems to only read the RSS feed once on BS 210W boot. I have the RSS feed set to update every minute in the BA preferences Why is the BS unit not reading the rss feed again? I have to do updates on the feed several times a day when I go live. I do need to understand why the feed is not being re-read at some set time frame by the BS 210W I am testing with. I reboot the BS 210W, I do not wish to have to manually reboot my BS units to get RSS updates? LOL

and it read the update rss feed see web server log hosting feed.

I might have already sent you an updated brightauthor to test, if not, I'll send it again. I know there was an rss update issue we were working on fixing. I thought it was already fixed, but maybe the issue still exists.

still not updating RSS feed after 2.2.0.29 BA republish

I have RSS feed set in Preferences to 1 minute.

I am deleting the RSS in presentation and re-adding it, then republish 2.2.0.29 BA. I figure maybe the new BA edit I need to re-add the feed. see if it makes RSS update.

RSS feed is updated yeah!!! 2.2.0.29 and a config change

It is a little confusing I changed from 5 minutes to 1 minute

there are two locations to set RSS Update Frequency

under PlayList preferences and Presentation preferences.

I set both two 1 minute and rss.xml is being read ever minute after update to BA 2.2.0.29

not sure why two is one global default and the other be presentation?

just happy it is working now

Yes the feed is being read by the BS box. every minute for my testing.

But my modifications to the feed xml file file are not showing up on the BS display. The old RSS xml text is still scrolling by.....

back to square one...

There must be some bug present then that's causing this to occur. Let me check into it.

Is there still a problem with MRSS Feed Updated? I got one update and when I change my files and republish the feed on the webserver the player didnt update. Its hard to troubleshoot because there is not log availible how the player is downloading the content and when its ready to change the content and play it....

If someone has experience in this, please tell me the trick. I Just updated the GUID as told in the thread here in the forum ;)
