ALpha Channel Image Overlay

I was attempting to use the alpha channel using transport part of image to show thru a video loop. Is only one video zone and image overlay supported at one time. I had a ticker, three image zones, clock and date on the screen. seems every time the clock, video or ticker updated, all the items on the screen went blank. then came back I had to abandon the alpha channel idea and use just four image zones to encase the video with the images to look same a alpha channel.

  The other items on your screen shouldn't be going black. If you're using a video/images zone, I've seen flicker in overlays. I would use a video only zone if you want to place a png image over the video.

  it was a video/image.
  
  but I have already got the static images bumper around  my video nicely.  so the aplpha channels image is more work.
  Also if I want to ad images to the video loop and can do it now with the vidoe/image only zone.

  Any thoughts on have  a "Z"  space variable in BA future?
