ticker and date formatting - help!

I'm having a few problems making my project look good I'm trying to get the ticker to work. I can get it working but it looks awful. The text is at the top of the box and the left side is cut off. I tried to use the text safe are with the x & y coordinates but then I got a blank box. The date and time, is there anyway to have them in the same zone? The box for the date is big, but the text just gets bigger proportionate to the box. Can the text itself get larger without the box getting bigger? Can anyone help? Thanks, Lesley

    You can adjust the size of the text box, maybe move the left side in if it's getting cut off. You can make the text box not as tall. The text always starts in the top left.

    No, the date and time can't be in the same one, and they're size is affected by the size of the box. Under edit preferences, for the time, you can customize the date and time fields a little to shorten the different values used.
