Brightsign 1010w MRSS feeds?

Hello

We have a few 1010w brightsign units in our environment and are planning on adding some weather media rss feeds from Screenfeed. I have a few questions regarding this

1.) Can the 1010w units handle the content provided by screenfeed? * we do not subscribe to the brightauthor network
2.) Is there a better alternative? I'm new to RSS and have done some research but can't seem to find something comprable.
3.) What kind of bandwidth can I expect these things to hog if there are 5 displays/BS units, and they are running rss weather and news in pictures?

any help would be greatly greatly appreciated.

    1. yes, screenfeed has mrss feeds for brightsign.
    2. I don't know of a better alternative
    3. mrss is just pictures, so that's a limited amount of bandwidth. I would recommend using just one mrss feed, and the unit will only download new images. You can ask screenfeed how often they refresh the images.

    The feed has to have the images already rotated. You cannot rotate the MRSS images via the player or BrightAuthor.

    Hello:

    I just saw this, have you found a solution to this yet?

    I can provide pre-rotated weather feeds(+90°, -90°, or 180°).  Custom zone sizes usually can be turned around in a few days, depending on what weather content you would like for the feed. At this time I am not charging extra for custom zone sizes.
