CONFUSED IN STARTING MY ROKU BRUGHT SCREEN

Hi
I am trying to work mt "Bright screen", but nothing.


I got from my manager mission to make the"box" work.

A. I didn't understand if the box works or doesn't from an SD card.
B. how to check software of the box itself?
C. I have in my card one file of autorun.bas
two a picture named autoplay1.bmp which is bmp.

Still nothing is working?
What can I do?
Is there any phone service support?

    Yes, we have support. You can send an email from rokulabs.com in the support section, under brightsign.



    No, the SD card slot doesn't currently work. You must use a Compact Flash card.



    You can check the software version using a terminal program. So, you wuold connect the brightsign to your computer using a null modem cable. When you starting the unit, it outputs welcome message including the software version, or you can just type the command: version



    If your unit has version 1.081 or later, you can see the software version by starting up the unit without any compact flash card inserted.



    We have a fully functional demo on the website you can download so you can test out either GPIO button input or mouse input. You bitmaps must be 24-bit bitmaps.
