HD2000 Sync 6 players

Hi,

I have read posts about synchronizing the playback of multiple units and notice the details of how to do this have been emailed to the individual user.

We wish to start the playback on 6 players at exactly the same time. I'm concerned that the access time of different brand flash cards could cause the playback to start at different times. Is there a way to guarantee the players will start simultaneously?

Thank you,

Neill

For the HD600, you can use the GPIO port to connect the units together, so that the main unit sends a signal to all 5 when it starts playback.

With the HD2000, you can also connect the units over the network, so a command is sent via UDP to keep the units synchronized.

If you're concerned about the flash cards, you can use the same card in all 6 units.

    Hi Lyndon,

A customer asked me to look into thesynced  multiple player option of the BrightSign player. You already have ready-to-go scripts for a 2 player solution (by ethernet or serial connection)?

The players are running 2.094 firmware.

    Thanks in advance!

    Lyndon,

Please don't bother, the Dutch distributor (VHS Amsterdam) sent some files to play with.

    Cheers,
