BrightAuthor Not Updating current-sync.xml File on Publish

When I publish my project to an SD card the current-sync.xml file is created or updated. When I publish the same project to a folder on the HTTP server no current-sync.xml file is created.

Networking is enabled for the project under Edit > Preferences > Networking. I see the traffic into the HTTP server but the project never updates because the current-sync.xml is not updated, or even created.

What am I missing?

tnx,

will

If you publish to your desktop, and then upload to your web server, does that work? I can't think ofa good reason a publish to a networked folder would cause the sync file not to e written.

I have determined the following steps

    1. Start BrigthAuthor.

    2. Load a project ('MyPics')

    3. Publish project to a directory (e.g. C:\MyProject\publish)

    4. Open a different project  ('MyMovie')

    5. Publish to the same directory (e.g. C:\MyProject\publish)

The current-sync.xml file is not updated while other resources are.

    6. Change back to the original project ('MyPics')

The current-sync.xml file is updated .

    Hi,

As I said on the phone, I can't duplicate this. The only cause where a sync file shouldn't be written if BrightAuthor 1.0.1.5 or earlier would be if the project you switched to didn't have networking enabled, under file-sign properties.
