Brightsign Network Manager Self-Hosted?

In all of the presentations I saw, it was made to seem like Brightsign Network Manager could be self-hosted if you purchased a unit. Now everything, seems to indicate that you have to purchase your hosting in order to use its features. Is that the case? Did that change recently, or did I somehow just miss this?

Am I able to get a copy of Network Manager to install on my own servers, or does it have to be run through you?

Why is this information being kept "off the air"? The marketing and website info has been confusing enough.

The information on the website isn't accurate. Brightsign Network Manager is a server application so it's not bundled. The website should state that to get a network manager account, you just need to email support@brightsign.biz and we'll create a demo account for the Brightsign Network Manager server.

I'm sorry for any confusion. We are working changes to the Brightsign network manager server, including adding support for BrightAuthor to work with the server software. Part of that process will be improving the information about networking the unit.

Please let me know if anything is still unclear.
