Well, I've successfully got my BrightSign HD1010 unit connecting to my SignChannel account. I actually spoke with Tom Wetmore of SignChannel and corresponded with Lyndon Allydice, and both were more than helpful in getting my display working.

Now, I'm trying to figure out how to get the content from SignChannel to appear on the screen (not full screen) while adding content of my own (image, time, RSS, etc).

If anyone has done anything like this, hit me up and let me know. Basically the SignChannel code displays images from an RSS feed. I'm trying to alter the *.brs file to display additional content as well.

  We are working towards integrating signchannel feeds into normal playback, but that's not yet complete.

  Did you use the BrightAuthor?
  
  How did you pair the BrightAuthor-Signchannel to your Sighchannel-Account?
  
  How do you like it? (Signchannel)
  
  I need an easy control for 5 or more Screens and the content should managed by a non "IT-Freak". -- is SignChannel the right platform? Would you recommend it?

  Since this question wasn't asked of me, I'll chime in about the pairing. In BrightAuthor, you can add a signchannel widget to your playlist or to its own zone. When you publish, the brightsign will display the acitvation code on screen in the zone where you have signchannel added. Or, if it's mixed in with other content as part of a playlist, then it will display the activation code when it gets to signchannel in the playlist.
