Using different fonts

I have quite a simple problem, I cant seem to load in different fonts to use for RSS text feeds. Currently the default is "System", yet pressing open and seaching for fonts in the windows/fonts folder doesnt seem to allow me to use them. Am i doing something wrong?

    For some reason, browsing the fonts folder seems to be a problem. I'm not sure if it's permissions or not.  If you copy one of the truetype fonts out of that folder and put it anywhere else, you'll be able to browse to it.
