touch screen compatibility with HD2000

We have 2 touch screen monitors - a G-Vision P198-AB-459G and a Planar PT191MU-BK. Are either compatible with the HD2000? The G-Vision sort of works, but not really. If either are compatible, what do I need to do to make the program run?

If either supports a standard HID driver then they should work. You can test both with a simple ineractive playlist that accepts touch input. Can you clarify what you mean by it kind of works? I'm not familiar with either of those brands.

thanks for the reply. I have called the Brightside support line dozens of times over the past few weeks, but no one answers or responds to my messages. I am very surprised by the lack of support and follow-up. Can you please reply off list (so that I am sure to see it) to: rbaraff@riversofsteel.com or better yet call me (412-464-4020 x21)

Please forgive my ignorance. This is my first experience with a Roku as we were loaned the unit (and the program) with the understanding that they would work with our touchscreen monitors. Both are HID compatible with the computers we have, but only the G-Vision (http://www.gvision-usa.com/) and not the Planar http://www.planar.com/>) seems to interface with the unit. The G-Vision will play the movie/screensaver and will interface with part of the program, but will not advance beyond the first few screens. Looking at the Excel matrix, it appears that the prompts are built for an ELO monitor. Is this the issue that it needs to be directed to a G-Vision or Planar?

    Assistance would be much appreciated.

You can reach support directly at support@brightsign.biz . I can provide my contact information as well. I don't know if you've called the sales number or support for one of our other products.

Can you send me the csv file you're using currently? The elo keyword applies to any touchscreen. If it works with one touchscreen it should work with the other. It's possible there's an issue with the HID driver support on the display.

Which version of the HD2000 firmware are you using?
