Here's what I need to do. 24 single images of a magazine. left side of screen slides previous image over from --> right side of screen slides next image over from <-- standby returns you to the top page simple right? anyone in LA that can help out? You can run BrightAuthor on your mac if you have a windows emulator like parallels.

You can also use the old csv file format to setup the touch playback.

For images, you can use jpegs, png, or bitmaps. They should be no larger than 1920x1080.

Do you know what touchscreen it is? You should update to the 3.2.67 firmware. You can download and try the touchscreen calibration?

If you can send a description of the project to support@brightsign.biz , I can help.

Awesome..I just got Parallels.  Looking at a 3M MicroTouch CT Touch Screen Monitor.

    http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&rlz=1T4ADBF_enUS296US298&resnum=0&q=3M+Microtouch+Chassistouch+Monitor&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=2496877688508148139&ei=CoWaS7OUFZKMswPB3al-&sa=X&oi=product_catalog_result&ct=result&resnum=4&ved=0CBsQ8wIwAw&os=tech-specs

I'll load up BrightAuthor and see where that gets me to.  Thanks for your help.  I'm sure I'll be contacting you with further questions in the near future.

for touch, the control interface needs to be usb. The specs for the 3m say rs232.

    Hi,

So I got a 3M CT150 touchscreen and can't get it to recognize that it is hooked up to the HD810....Keeps saying no signal.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

Ok, that's  a video issue. Most likely, the brightsign is set to or defaulting to a resolution the screen doesn't like. How are you connected to video? I would publish a test project from BrightAuthor that sets the resolution to 1024x768 if you're using vga, or 1280x720 if you're using HDMI. For vga, you can also try 800x600.
