Hi, Do the Roku players support only USB touchscreens 1 or also RS232 touchscreens 1 thanks Bart Wermuth

    Mostly USB.

    We have started some initial testing with serial touch, primarily on some elo models. The serial support is only in release 3.3 which isn't posted yet for beta. Do you have a specific serial screen in mind?

    Hey Lyndon,

    Did last year's serial touch screen tests get anywhere?

    I ask because I'd like to test the touch capabilities of our HD1010, but all our screens (NEC 19" widescreen - with 3M overlays I'm assuming) are pre-wired for serial.

    Well, I do have one with USB - but I don't have the room to fit a 36" widescreen on my desk.... ;-)

    Send me an email atsupport@brightsign.biz with model info about the screens you have. There's no support in Brightauthor directly for serial touch. I believe we had some codes for a few different serial touchscreens, and we can check and see if one of those would work for the models you have. It requires modifying a line in the brightauthor script to use serial and not usb. It also assumes you're not using the serial port for anything else.

    USB is also OK, 
    You may need to recalibrate the touch screen when you reboot your device.
    Here can you learn How to calibrate the elo touchscreen.
