SDHC CARD RECOMMENDATION FOR HD210

Hello, Does the quality/speed/price of the SDHC card that I use for my BrightSign HD210's affect their performance? In other words should I spend £9.99 on a Transcend SDHC card or £21.99 on the Sandisk equivalent? The Transcend card is memory Class 6 Data Transfer Rate: Read - 19MB/s Write - 8MB/s and the Sandisk is Memory Card Class 10 Data Transfer Rate: 30MB/s If there is no difference in performance then I would obviously go for the cheaper option. thanks. Flavio.

For the most part, it only matters normally if you're playing high bitrate HD video. That's where you can see performance differences. If both cards are rated as class 6, I'd would test the cheaper card and verify it performs according to spec.

One card is rated Class 10 (ar per 1st Post). I am using high bit-rate full HD video.

Do you suggest I use the Class 10?

If you're using less than 25Mbps, then 6 should be fine. If it's higher than 25mbps, then I would go with the 10.

Sandisk Industrial or BrightSign branded cards are all  I will use.
