Scheduling Presentations

Hi, I have 3 store signs that frequently get sale updates. I have to post the new updates at a certain time on the day they want me to post it. After it posts, it has to play until I have to schedule a new post with updated sales. What i want to know is if the last scheduled presentation will continue to play until I schedule a new presentation? The updates are not scheduled every week it could be two weeks, then one week then three weeks. I just need to know if it will continue to play the last presentation until i schedule the new one or will I have to continue publishing it on the day they need it with the schedule of all day every day? -Darrin

    Presentations play for as long as they are scheduled. SO, i you set something to play and don't set an expiration date, then it will play indefinitely. BUt, if you schedule something to play from Monday to Thursday, and stop at 3PM on Thursday, then at 3:01pm, your screen will go blank.

    So I should set the all day everyday playlist with an end date when I know when the next update is, schedule that update after the end date I specify for the previous presentation, and put the new presentation without an end date just a start date and time?

    IF you only want the presentations to change when you submit a change, I wouldn't set any end dates. Just set them to all day, all the time. And change to a new presentation when you're ready.
