Play file from a Server

Hi mates, i have got the folowing request: I have a video file on a Server in the local network. I want the box to replace the video on the local SD-Card, when i change the Video. Is it possible? In Wich documentation can i find some information about it? thanks for our help.

    SO, you are changing the video on the server to a different server, and you want the unit to see that you've made this change? So, the player is only ever playing one file? Is it possible to write some kind of text file in the same directory with the file name? I'm not clear on how this will be working.

    No, sorry.

    I have got 1 Server and a BrightSign HD210. The Videofile is on the Server.

    Now i want the box to play another Video. So i take another videofile on the server.

    And now i want the box replace the video on the local SD-Card, when i take the new Video on the server.

    i dont want to restart the Box when i habe a new video.

    EDIT: i am just a beginer. I just read about the Network Manager and the BrightSign Network over internet. Is it just possible to use the unit in a LAN?
