Controlling 3 HD810

Hello, I have to setup 3 HD810 (linked with serial) to work with 3 individual shows (playout on a touchscreen) and one show playing a synced videofile over all 3 screens for a trade show. The individual shows are no problem, but I do not know how I can handle the timeout for all HD810 together <!-- s:?: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_question.gif" alt=":?:" title="Question" /><!-- s:?: --> The whole show should work as follows: Start: a synced video is playing over all 3 screens and looping Breakcommand: if you touch one of the touchcreens - the individual show for each controller should start Going back to the startloop: and this is the tricky part (I don´t know how to handle) -> in each show I have a timeout for a touchevent (´cause its a trade show and there should be always action on the screens). In this case the individual shows are starting to play a looping videofile. If this videofile is loping at every HD810 I need a new timeoutcommand (or a 1 minute counter) to got back to Start, the synced video over all 3 screens should start again Is this possible to do with the HD810 or do I need a HD1010 and how can I do this? How are the units connected to each other over serial? If they can communicate with each other, then you can send commands over the serial port. Are you using a custom script, or a brightauthor project?

Just to confirm the sync play, and individual shows work currently?

I am just in the planning process. The only thing which is ready are the individual shows for each player ( and yes they are working fine). I do not know if the wishes of my customer for this project can be realized, nor do I know if it is possible with the HD810. But cause this player is cheaper than a 1010 I am sure my customer will like him more.
I think I need a external device to handle the signal that the players are looping the individual videofile (and than send the start command for the sync play) - or is it possible to store this command in one of the players?

For sync, you can use gpio or you can use serial with the HD810s.

How many different files need to be synchronized?

I only need one videofile in sync. The one which has to loop after all three players are sending the command that they are playing their own loopfile.
Can I manage this with only seriell commands?

Nobody out there who can help me????
I need to know if this kind of described show is possible with the HD810 only or do I need a special board like the one´s from hms-electronic to get this show working.

with my approach of never asking a question in a forum without first answering one, I try to help:

I think I understood what you are trying to do and this is possible with just the 810 the serial connection and some clever programming in the BrightSign Autor. Here is what it might look like:

    Sorry, about the late reply.

yes, this can be done, and since you have HD810s, you can do this with a gpio cable. Here's a link to a pdf file that has a sample gpio cable used to synchronize content between units.

    GPIO CABLE Wiring

Since the sync is over gpio, we'll be using a script for playback. The brightauthor software sync assumes you're using ethernet for sync. Can you send me a sample project of what you're playing now?

Hello Lyndon, are you there? Last week I send you directly the files you requested, but I got no reply. So what´s going on?
