old WEP 40 128 nit support wireless

i am debugging a customer using WEP. I can get the 210W to login with WEP 40 bit ascii. but cannot get it to login using WEP 128 ascii running beta 3.5.62 on 210w Should 40/128 wep working on 210W also can BA password setting field accept HEX WEP 40 or WEP 128 password formats? please advise.

    I was able to get customer connected on 40 bit wep.  do not ask me why he is using wep still....
