1920x1080 project 1920x1080 zone not filling screen

Hi Lyndon I have just created a 1920 x 1080 project, just want to display 1920 x 1080 video in a 1920 x 1080 video zone (this is on a full HD pc monitor so no overscan). What I have found is that even thou in Brightauthor the video zone fills the template and is 1920 x 1080, when displayed on the monitor the background colour is showing at the left and bottom (It is not the monitor, if you change the background colour in Brughtauthor it changes on the screen). http://www.churchsoundsystems.co/files/DSCI0507Brightsign.jpg Regards Andrew

Please update to firmware 3.5.68 and retest. This is a bug, but I believe it was recently fixed.

I have an HD210 that I just installed in a sales centre with the latest firmware available in Brightauthor (3.5.68), and it is doing the same thing. It's outputting to a 2x2 matrix of lcds, so it's also throwing off the centre point, which makes the whole show out of whack

The playback file is an MP4 file, so I was trying the latest firmware, so I wouldn't have to transcode it.

I never thought of changing the background colour to troubleshoot the problem.

What's the recommended fix? Can I go back in firmware? Is it related to the MP4 file?

    Help, and thanks,

    Nathan

It's not the file or firmware. We have an upcoming 3.6 release which fixes this problem. It's a firmware issue.

    Hi Lyndon,

It there a workaround?  I need to get it resolved ASAP. Can I go down in firmware to something that doesn't add the border?

It's just a single movie looped. Can I not use Brightauthor and just put the clip on the card?

    Thanks,
