disable cursor again

I need to disable the cursor again, on hd810's controlled by a cvs file. I've done it in the past, but with out of date autorun files. Now we want to use mp4's, which are not supported with the outdated autorun. Can I get an updated autorun anywhere? Thanks. g

Is there a reason you can't use brightauthor with your HD810?

Technically, you can just change your file extensions to mpg. The unit doesn't care so long as you have the right firmware to play the file. I've done that in testing before brightauthor could recognize mov extensions.

Three reasons I don't want to use brightauthor.
    1. Dyed in the wool Mac user. The only PC I have access to works sometimes. So I have tried it, but...

    2. We use the same basic cvs for many players, and just swap the files each one runs. Also, we make many mistaces and tiepo's. It is much easier to replace the jpeg in question than to reload the whole thing with brightauthor.

    3. Learning curve. Maybe someday I'll get good enough at BA, but will most likely need a new PC first.

Thanks for the hint about .mpg. But the autorun I've modded still only works with .ts files. Does that still apply? I can try it, but I thought I'd ask as well.

    Thanks again.            g

IF the file type is correct, the extension isn't important. The unit doesn't do an extension check. The script only looks for specific extensions unless it's bee updated to look at others.

So, unless you didn't change the extension properly, the only reason it wouldn't work is if there's a problem with the file type.
