Changing boot image

I need the Brightsign not to show anything when it´s booting, or have an image. Our customer doesn´t want to show any brand. Imagine that for some extrange reason the unit needs to reboot... or loose the power.... When all units are booting everybody will see the BS logo, and if the SDHC is corrupted, it will show the IP of the unit... so we have to prevent it.... I saw one script at the forum, but i don´t know if it´s possible, and if it´s reversible.... Thanks

So, yes, you can add a custom boot logo using the script posted on the forum. And, if you're running 3.5 or later firmware, we can also disable startup bar if you wish.

Booting this thread again... Above script worked. However I didn't find a way to disable the blue loading/progressbar at startup. Stating above there is also a solution for that. How to disable this loading-bar within the script?

    Thanks!

When you set up a player using BrightAuthor at the bottom left there is the Splash Screen section where you can control what shows on the screen at startup.

    This might help also
