HDMI to DVI Cabel (HD2000 to DVI-Monitor)

I have a problem using a cabel from HDMI (HD200) to a TFT-Monitor with only DVI Input. There is no HDMI Input. HDMI to HDMI works fine.

    Does the DVI input on the monitor support the resolution that you have the brightsign set to over hdmi? If you're outputting 720p, for example, does the monitor support 720p over DVI?



    Some monitors support different resolutions on different inputs. Which brand and model monitor are we talking about?

    The problem is, that the display don´t support 720p or 1080i on the DVI! I think the BrightSign is looking for the EDID information on the display, and if the mode is not supported, the BrightSign shows nothing. I have tested a HDMI splitter from Lindy (Germany) and if I put this intermediate, the display show the video from HD2000! I think the problem is a wrong EDID information in the display and the splitter don´t use or look at the EDID list.
