Roku HD600 - on its side?

Hi - can the Roku HD600 be used/mounted on its side or back instead of lying flat? Many thanks.

    We recommend, when possible, to mount it vertically because the vents are located on the short side. But, there's no difference mounting them sideways versus flat.
