The cursor is in memory, stored in a temp location on the Brightsign. You need the cursor to not be visible?

Which brightsign are you using? And, under which software version? There's an enable cursor call that's made when you're using touchscreens. I don't have a touchscreen to test against, but if we disable that call, the cursor shouldn't appear.

Hello. Yes, we want to get rid of the big ugly X cursor. We are running the HD2000 Brightsign with latest firmware (2.0.94) thanks. Oh, and similar question...if we want to change the look of the cursor, do we simply replace the cursor.bmp file with one we desire?

Yes, you can replace the cursor with one of your own. I've sent you a modified autorun to disable the cursor.

Great. Thanks. I sent you an email for alternate email to send .zip file. (our company server deletes zip attachments for security reasons)

I sent that file twice, and sent it as a txt file as well. Can you send me your other email address at lallydice@roku.com? I'll try sending again.

As I replied to you three times, my company email deletes attachments with a .zip extension regardless if you renamed it a .txt file. Please, please, please send the file to: chesapeakeav@yahoo.com

I have just forwarded that email to the address in your last post. I'm sorry this has taken so long. There must be email problems on my end because I haven't seen those replies or this email address previously. I went back through my inbox and junkmail folder, and all I see are the messages I sent to you, nothing coming back.

You should have the modified autorun now. Let me know if it fixes the problem.

OK--I figured out an easy work around to this.. I simply made a 10x10 pixel "empty" (transparent background) .jpg in Photoshop. Then did a Save As , and saved as a .bmp. Saved as cursor.bmp and replaced that file on the flash card. When the HD2000 runs, the cursor is theoretically there, but it is entirely transparent. Richard
