Bright Sign HD110 Help

i have a bright sign hd110 and i'm having some trouble making a video play on it.

i have tried a demo from the website and it worked fine.

i am trying to play a 1080i HD .mpg file. i did not make this file, i only received it and was asked to make it play on the hd110.

i have tried just putting the file on the sd card, and i have also tried creating an autoplay notepad file.

all of this either results in the brightsign v 3.0.13 splashscreen or just a blank screen.

i read that the video file must be an mpeg-2 transport stream with mp3 audio. is my .mpg file with interlaced audio not transport stream?

playing media on this seemed pretty straight forward, this is kinda making me feel like an idiot.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think i figured out the problem, however i don't really have any way to convert my mpg file to .ts.

If you update to the 3.1 software on our website, you won't have to convert your .mpg mpeg2 or mpeg1 file, it'll play.

If you still want to convert it, I can recommend some different programs.
