HD2000 Interactive Content Possibilities

I'm using an HD2000 player with a touch screen monitor.

I need to know if I can have multiple screens with different touch zones. For example, I need a page that once an area on the screen is pressed it goes to another page that has another set of areas that go to additional pages.
Is it possible to script this?

Also, is it possible a HD2000 or any other Roku player can use an Adobe Flash file with buttons?

Please help.

    We don't currently support flash, although flash support is planned for the compacts.



    Yes, you can have interactive playlists where the buttons do one thing on one menu, and different things on a second or third or fourth menu. Let me know if you need an example.

    1.  Could you please give an example of changing zone definitions within a playlist?  BRS or CSV.  Sometimes I want full-screen video and other times I want a couple of image zones.  



    2.  Or perhaps, if my video zone is full screen, can I make the foreground image zones display 'nothing' without loading black screens .... so the video shows through?   Conversely, I will want to 'turn off' the video when only the images are supposed to show.



    3.  Finally, is something like this do-able from BrightAuthor?

    You can do this with a custom script.



    You will be able to do this with BrightAuthor once a couple overlay bugs are fixed. With brightauthor, you could have a video zone, and an image zone above it. You could then display clear png images, with transparency, when you want only the video to show. It would be as if the images weren't present, and when you wanted images, just display normal images. The image zone sits above the video zone. So, if there's an image displayed, you wouldn't see the video that's playing.

    hi,

    you are talking about the hd2000 but i cant find that fitting brightauthor software for download. that would probably eliminate some of my problems.

    (i want to have videos played by serial commands and mute the videos with overlayed black images)

    do you have brightauthor for hd2000 for download?

    NO, BrightAuthor didn't exist when the HD200s were originall shipping, and only supports HD110 and later. The HD 600 and 2000 only use scripts and legacy bsp and csv text playlists.
