Where is my cursor?

Using HD1010 3.1.46 Microsoft USB wired mouse.

I'm trying to test some roll over features which is very difficult because there is no mouse on screen.

I have made a 10 pixel x 10 pixel image, named it cursor.bmp and put that on the flash card with the other files, still nothing there.

How do I get the mouse cursor to be visible?

Thank you.

    Also can someone please confirm:

    1. The roll-over images do not appear until the mouse is moved.  Can the off image be made to display automatically upon power up?

    2. Is it possible to have roll-over on top of a video or can it only work with still images?

    Thanks.

Yes, you can do the rollover on top of an video as well as an image.

Do you have more than one touch coordinate when you don't see the mouse? There's a setting in the autorun that we can change, but it assumes if there's only one touch region active for the image or video you are playing, then the cursor shouldn't be shown.

I can modify the autorun to enable the cursor all the time.

For the off images, there isn't an option to have them on all the time. Normally, the off image matches the background image. Is it only one one menu where you want the off images displayed automatically?

    Background Video and Roll-over:

When first switched on the video plays, and I can move the mouse cursor, the moment that the cursor touches a roll-over region the screen goes black.  Then if I return to the background the video plays while the cursor is within the roll-over region, when the cursor is moved away the screen goes black.  The off and on images are transparant PNGs, I have also tried JPEGs and BMPs with the same result.

Is the an example autoplay file available which has roll-over working with a background video?

    Mouse Cursor:

I added a 2nd roll-over region and now I can see the mouse cursor.

    Off Image not Displaying:

So the off image might as well be transparent, or rather there is no point to having an off image?

Test the mouse on another computer to determine whether the mouse is actually faulty.Test another touch coordinate.Try wired Mouse instead.Check the Transparent off images, use non-transparent images.
