HEX or DEC code to control over RS232 HD2000

Where can I find a list of codes if there are any for basic operation of a HD2000 after a script has been written. Also how can I find out how to properly write a basic script?

    There are sample scripts in the object reference guide, and the brightscript reference. There aren't any fixed commands you can send. You can send any command. You tell the brighsign what youw ant to do once the command is received.

    This is a simple script that accepts some serial commands like play, loop, stop, and search over the serial port.

    is there some type of editing software that I need for the hd2000?

    how will I implement the files I have for this player?  Sorry like I said Im new to this.

    I guess both, what is the process of putting files into the hd2k?  is there a manual on how to use this unit maybe I can look at?.
