Firmware update and program on same card?

When I update the firmware (for a Hd410), I always put just the update onto the card, run it, then take the card back out and load the program. I noticed last time after the update ran, it apparently erased itself from the directory.

Do I need to run update separately, or can I load it onto the same card as the program? Would save a little time if the former.

    you can put the update.rok on the flash card with your content.
