timing delay?

We have three HD 2000 and two are activated using push buttons and one is activated by a touch screen. We have a delay from the time we push the button to the presentation coming on about 2 seconds, also the touch screen has around a 5 seconds delay too. Is there an upgrade we can install to shorten the delay once the command is entered?

  Can you send me your csv file, to <!-- e --><a href="mailto:support@brightsign.biz">support@brightsign.biz</a><!-- e -->? Those delays sound like they're too long. Also, please send me your autorun.bas file. Maybe, there's a debug mode that's set on that's causing the delays.

  hi, i m also curious about it. i m controlling the videos by midi via rs232 and have a delay of 1 sec and cant get lower (also not with different resolutions and file formats.

  i was wondering how the newer models perform since we have time critical applications.

  For image play back, newer units are faster. so the HD1020 would be faster than the HD2000, maybe twice as fast. I haven't done a head to head. But, the XDs are 30x faster than the  HD models for image playback. They can play images for 1/1000  of a second.
