BrightAuthor Text Zone HD1010

With BrightAuthor I can create video, image, clock, date, and rss/ticker zones, but cannot find how to create a zone for static text. It's a restaurant menu and we don't want the typewriter or timed effect... just text that stays there. Surely it is there and I'm missing it. HowTo ??

    You can go to zone properties or a ticker zone, and change how the text is displayed, from animated to static.

    Is this really the best way to manage a text only zone?  In a ticker?  Is there no way to make a zone text only, that can be changed in bright author by the user?

    You can include multiple Ticker zones in brightauthor project and play pre-defined text strings there.

    You can include Live Text in your project, so that when the xml files are updated the players pull down that information as well. The live text feature allows the BrightSign unit to update values based on data delivered via an rss feed. You can include multiple Live Text items it your project. See details in BrightAuthor user guide.
