HD210 videos missing thumbnails

I am having problems displaying the thumbnail pictures in the brightauthor software (v 1.2.0.13). As referenced by the manual I tried installing the k-lite codec pack to solve this issue but it still has not worked %100. I tried installing all three versions of the k-lite codec pack but I still only get some of the thumbnails to display only after I publish them.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

    Please do NOT install "codec packs" like K-lite - they are very often riddled with adware and malware.

    @Michael this topic is about classic BrightAuthor, you are using BrightAuthor:connected, so it's a different thing.  Please create a new topic to avoid confusion and I'm closing this one to avoid people installing codec packs as a potential fix - it is not going to change anything for BrightAuthor:connected.

    Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a perfect codec that gets all of the thumbnails. I have some thumbnails on my system that BrightAuthor also can't generate.

    I am having a similar issue, with all my players. It looks like it's a software issue, not player specific. I tried the k-lit fix as well, nothing worked. According to their customer service, this is a known issue and referenced engineering ticket: BCN-14881. My worry is that this has been an issue since 2010, and it is still not fixed 14 years later. It could be possible that it was fixed, and it broke again, but I wish I could find somewhere displaying information about this referenced ticket number.
