Brightsign HD210 issues with Network Manager

I have just started using the Brightsign HD210 and got it working fine.to begin with. However since using Brightsign Network Manager I have been unable to get it to work without the network manager.

I want to change the IP Config for our network as initially used the default setting on the manual IP config but it doesnt seem to work.

Have tried playing the demo again with no luck. And also tried an fw update which also fails.

Each time I try something outwith using the network manager nothing happens apart from 3 red flashing lights. I ave also tried different cards and reformatted them with FAT32.

Any advice would be great. Cheers Roz

Once you setup the unit on network manager, it assumes you'll put an autorun file on the flash card. Normally, the unit uses the autorun that's in memory for playback. So, if your demo doesn't include the autorun, that explains the 3 flashing lights, which means the unit is in recovery mode.

If you copy and run this on the flash card, it will erase the recovery settings from the registry.

It shouldn't prevent the firmware update from working though. That's odd. What should have happened is the firmware update should have installed, and if you had nothing else on the flash card, it would then restart, and go back to the three red lights...

Thanks Lyndon, the reg hack solved my issues. I am sure it wont be the only ones I have as I progress this. Cheers Roz
