Schedule Programming Rules

I sense the BrightAuthor programming language is very powerful. I was surprised and pleased to learn you can schedule multiple projects. I take this to imply that there is trmendous flexibility in how you schedule projects. You just have to figure out how. My current goal is to schedule a project to run at different times on different days. To save me time running experiments, is there any documentation beyond what's in the user guides that explains what you can and cannot do regarding setting schedules? Peter Cassidy

    Peter,

Are you referring to scheduling with Brightauthor?

You can schedule presentations with different layouts, so you can have something that's fullscreen  one hour and multiple zones another.

BY default when you schedule something it's set to play for an hour, but you can shorten or lengthen the time something plays. You can set it to start at 8:13 for example, and only play for 5 minutes.

You can set start and expiration dates for presentations, so if you only want them to play for 3 days.

Schedules don't currently support overlapping presentations. So, You can't schedule presentation xyz to play every day from 8 - 5, and then schedule presentation ABC to interrupt it from noon - 1pm. You would need to schedule xyz from 8 - noon, and 1 - 5, and set ABC for noon - 1pm.

    Your presentations can't overlap.
