Remote Monitoring using Nagios

I have managed a way to passively verify that the Brightsign HD210 or 1010 is running out in the field using a network monitoring opensource software called Nagios. It actually works really well and lets me know if their is any issues with the Brightsign even if it sits behind a private network. I also can verify uptime to show customers if they require it. I can share how to do it if there is any interest. It only takes an old PC with a little linux installation with a valid domain name to the PC / server.
