Programming Sony VPL-VW 50 Projector
Hey guys first of all, sorry for my bad english as I am from Germany. I've recently bought the Brightsign HD 410 for use with a Sony VPL-VW 50 projector. I have an external unit to start the different movies on the BrighSign. I figured out, that it is possible to start and stop the projector via the external unit, too. I've watched the tutorial video and the problem is, that the given command (pon) doesn't work with the Sony. As "pon" stands for "projector on" I thought it might be "poff" for turning it off. But none of these commands does the work. My question is now: what do I have to type in the commandline, so that I can turn it on (or better, get it out of sleep mode) an turn it off (get it into sleep mode, or is it standby?). My idea was the following: I have a start picture, whose single functionality is to start the beamer. I do that by connecting two pictures with button 0. If you press it, you get to the picture with the commandline. This picture isnt visible as the projector needs about 50 seconds to start up. This picture has a timeout action after 30 seconds. It brings you back to the startscreen. From there, you can choose movie 1 or 2 by pressing button 1 or 2. The end action of both movies is a 3rd picture that should get the projector into standby. The timeout action of this picture is to get back to the first picture after 30 seconds. I hope this was understandable. Thanks in advance for your reply, regards Max
