HD1010 and RS232 Problem

Hi, I have a problem with the serial interface. It can not be started via the RS232. The HD1010 outputs the input output commands over Rs232 but that does not respond to commands from the interface is returned. Wonder how accurate is the call command when the filename Film1 an in the BrightAuthor by Serial Input 1 is? I have to do something extra, when I created the function in BrightAuthor? Thanks for your help. Gruss Thomas

WHen you send commands, are they terminated with a carriage return? That's what's expected by the brightsign. If you post a sampl project file, the bpf, then I can check if that's setup correctly.

Yes I am sending a carriage return. I have changed the file name. Now I can even call up a file via RS232. Then it stops. The player must power off and then back to make power on, then I can recall a file.
On what could be the problem? I send the project file.

    Thanks Thomas

I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying the player restarts when you send a serial command? Also, did you say which version of brightauthor you're using?

I hope I can explain it better.
The player is Turned on, then I send via RS232 command "1CR" to show the first film. The film shows, the player feedback by "Film1 end". Then I would like to start the second movie. Send the command "2CR" again via RS232. But nothing happens, nothing just happens even if I want to start another movie. Now I must reboot the player where unplug  the power plug and then again put. Now I can send the command "2CR" and shows the film 2. The feedback follows with "Film 2 end". If I but now again 1 will show the movie I unplug the player back the power and plug it in again.
The question is now why I can only once a command via RS232 send and then the player makes no response?
    Thanks
