Windows 7 incompatibility?

Hi Lyndon, I have a customer that is having problems using simple file networking. He has installed BrightAuthor and the HFS server in a windows 7. He says that the HD1010 unit doesn't connect to the server. I have indicated him every step but it is no possible to update the BrightSign content. Do you know if there is some incompatibility with Windows 7? Regardas Nando.

    No, it works fine with windows 7. I have a windows 7 system I use it with.

    I would check if HFS is listed in his firewall software as having access to his network.

    If the IP address of his computer isn't manually set, I would check if the IP address used when the brightsign was setup, is still the same on the computer.

    FOr HFS, I would also set a port number other than port 80. If you do this, you'll need to redo the setup files placed on the brightsign.
