Brightsign VGA resolution

Brightsign 810s 1010s &c. Can we expect support for higher resolutions from the VGA connector anytime soon. Be good to have support for 1680 x 1050 on the VGA connector. The 20 sec duration Samsung Nag screen about "Optimum resolution for this screen is 1680x1050" gets a few customers annoyed !

  With some resolutions, they can't be supported because of the pixel clock that the brightsign uses. There are gaps in the pixel clock, so just because the unit supports 1080p doesn't mean it can support all lower resolutions. As a matter of fact, there are lower resolutions the unit can't support. I'll look and see if this specific resolution can be supported.

  It's not possible to support that resolution on the brightsigns.
