Dear BrightSign Team, dear community. I have never worked with BrightSign. Now i have got the HD210. I want to play a Video over network, but i don´t know how. On your website i just found documentations about BrightSign Author. Where can i find a documentation about playing a video over the network? Do i need the BrightSign Network and a webserver? Can i just play a video from the network with windows forwarding? Kind Regards Christian Berlin

  IF you're talking about streaming video, that's not currently supported. You can download content over the network and play using either the brightsign network, or simple file networking from a web server.
  
  You can also use a media rss feed, where the feed includes video.
  
  But, no streaming video is available.

  i want the HD210 to download the content i put on a server. Where can i learn it? What is the right documentation?

  We have four tutorial videos on our website, under the tutorials sections. Three on the brightsign network, and one on simple file networking.
  
  With simple file networking, you setup the brightsign to call into a web folder. Using brightauthor, you publish updates, that you copy / upload to that web directory, and the brightsign downloads the updates.
  
  With the brightsign network you are using our hosted service.  You can get a 30-day trial. There's an upload to network button in brightauthor that puts content directly in your account. And, you can group units together and setup scheduled based on groups. The brightsign network is a managed solution. The videos explain how it works, and how to setup simple networking. There's also faqs on simple file networking and the brightsign network, and a forum thread on setting up simple networking.
